The main character, Sean Boswell (Lucas Black), is sent to live with his father, who is stationed as a U.S. ominous blue officer in Tokyo, Japan, to avoid jury or even jail. While in school, he befri break offs Twinkie (Bow Wow), a military affright, who introduces him to the world of racing in Japan.

He borrows a car from Han, straight off a business mate to Takashi, and loses, totaling the car because of his lac k of fellowship of drifting. Drifting is ra! cing that involves austere hairpin turns. To repay his debt for the car he destroyed, Sean must work for Han. after on, Han becomes friends with Sean and teaches the young racer how to drift. afterward he has finished workings for Han, they become friends and Sean in the end beats the Drift King.      The setting of this movie takes place in Tokyo, Japan where people can race on the streets legally.
